This floppy cap is very useful for keeping hair out of the way while cleansing the skin or putting on make-up. It was traditionally worn in eighteenth century cap to cover up curlers or less than perfect hair. The cap is very generous and feminising as it frames your face in frills. SHORT NIGHTDRESSES
We have couple of sort nightdresses in Ivory. One is a lace trimmed shift that falls straight from the shoulders to the knees. The neckline is drawn together by two ties and finished with a charming lace collar. Narrower lace is used at the wrists and round the hemline.
The clever design of the armholes makes the nightdress roomy when put on but it is made to fit snugly to the body by using the side tiesto give shaping under the bust.

The Nightdress has an elasticated frill collar which can be worn quite close to the neck as a traditional rounded neckline. Alternatively it can be worn more provocatively in an off-the-shoulder style which is also more comfortable on hot nights.

HOUSECOAT AE25
This garment is more versatile than a Dressing Gown. Firstly, it does not look like one, being smart and elegant enough to welcome unexpected visitors to the front door. 
The design is cross-over at the front with adjustable tie-fastenings under the bust to give an elegant long-line shape. This form of fastening allows the Housecoat to fall freely from just below the bust to the hem. This means no belt is needed In addition there is another tie fastening inside, just about knee height which means the Housecoat cannot accidentally fall open to show what (if anything) you are wearing underneath.
